Within an 11 week time frame a large Saw Mill project had to be transported from Hamburg to Western Russia. The project involved 5 suppliers from 4 different countries in Europe with delivery in Russia at a set time to enable the plant to be fully assembled.
The company found Sumisho Global Logistics Europe offered a reliable solution that would meet their tight deadline.
Total cargo to be shipped was 8,000cbm and 2,500 tonnes.
Following full liaison with suppliers in Austria, Germany, France and Estonia we finalised all the cargo details to ensure timely access to the unpacked equipment.
We purchased and organised all the packaging, containers, racks and platforms needed to transport the project from Hamburg by ocean freight. And all cargo was packed on sled skids to make loading and unloading as simple and quick as possible.
We arranged shipment by container carriers for the fastest delivery to Korea and from there we chartered a conventional vessel to deliver the cargo directly to the private Russian dock where the plant was to be erected.
To avoid any unnecessary loss of time on the journey and at final destination we took great care to:
The cargo was delivered in time and the plant erected in the fastest way possible at its final destination.
We can get your project cargo to wherever it needs to go - safely and right on time.
