We have many years experience in China as well as vast trade and logistics resources. Sumitomo has invested widely in China and now has 11 logistics offices offering the entire range of logistic services.
With established connections between 76 provincial cities across China - transportation by rail, road and river is possible for any kind of cargo. Our all round transportation network includes transport by sea, land and air. Storage can also be optimised thanks to Sumitomo's vast storage facilities in China which cover an area of 46,000 square metres. The opening of the road network from South China to Vietnam and Thailand brings transnational road shipping for all our customers.

Logistic services across South East Asia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and Philippines
Across South East Asia, we have logistic offices offering a range of logistic services that includes free-zone and general warehouse facilities in Thailand and bonded and standard warehouse facilities, container terminal and trailer depot in Vietnam.
Our SGL Indonesia office is based in a well located industrial park and provides automobile parts procurement from Thailand to Indonesia. Logistics are optimised at our customer's production plant with nearby warehouse facility, JIT delivery, FIFO control and import/export clearance.
And SGL handles all packaging, warehouse facility/stock control/management and transportation between Thailand and Indonesia for another manufacturer in the steel industry. In the Philippines our logistics office can provide NVOCC, Fedex service, project cargo delivery, logistics consultancy, VMI operation and land and air freight services.
SGL Thailand also offers the full range of logistics services across Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Vietnam and South China by sea and rail. They offer a worldwide service to and from Thailand and successfully pioneered VMI and SCM operations in Thailand.
The office runs four warehouses and looks after 25 Thai vendors providing export and milk-run services. They have expertise and experience in bonded, general and free zone warehouse and inventory management, customs clearance, land transportation, NVOCC and project cargo.
