We arranged all international transportation, located a warehouse near to the production plant and put an efficient Warehouse Management System in place, operated by SGL Europe staff. We effectively managed more than 50 parts suppliers in the UK and across Europe.
In addition, our Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) ensured that parts for production were delivered to the assembly line at a pace to ensure production matched customer demand. We successfully managed 20 vendors in this way.
